Its contactless design further ensures staff and visitors do not introduce germs unwillingly into the facility.
How does it work
BioFace [MTD] operates as a standalone kiosk to measure body temperature or as an access control point to allow entry into an area, based on any combination of face recognition, normal temperature, and mask detection.
BioFace [MTD] body temperature measurement kiosk takes the temperature reading from the face in ~ 1 second with a measurement accuracy of ±0.3°C – 0.5°C. A distance of 0.5 meters is recommended for most accurate readings. The temperature threshold is set by the user.
When an elevated temperature is detected, an alarm will sound. If the device is used as an access control point as well as a kiosk for measuring body temperature and detecting abnormality, the entry will also be denied.
